Kayaking to Prvić Island
If you desire to get away from the crowded tourist destinations during the hot summer months or just wish to relax in the middle of calm blue sea not far from the coastal area, this kayaking adventure is perfectly balanced for you. We are rowing towards the island of Prvić which is situated in Šibenik’s archipelago in the vicinity of both, the cities of Vodice and Šibenik. It occupies an area of 2.41 km² with the total coastal length of 10.6 km. Apart its harmony and natural beauty, it is also known as the island of Faust Vrančić (Fausto Veranzio), the famous Croatian and European scientist from the 16th century.
You will also have some free time for swimming and doing a walking tour. This island will amaze you with its peace and relaxation as well as with its characteristic stone houses in Dalmatian style. And, as it is the daily custom of the local people, you too will have the opportunity to take a break and drink some coffee in one of the local coffee bars.
