Bike&Boat ‘’Prvić and Zlarin islands’’

This unforgettable tour begins in St Anthony Channel at the very entrance to the city of Šibenik. On our bike tour we will climb to panoramic hill top to enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Šibenik and its surrounding area with hundreds of islands, islets and bays, the ideal moment for capturing some beautiful images with your photo camera.

We will continue pedaling towards a military sea tunnel from World War II, the so called “Hitler’s Eyes” and after that to the small cave chapel located in the vicinity which was used by hermits in the middle ages.

Our tour continues following a path along the channel and its small bays and beaches to get to St Nicholas fortress for a brief visit. This fortification was built in 16th century during the Venetian governance and is today under UNESCO’s protection as the most important defense fortification on Croatian side of the Adriatic coast.

From here we will take a private boat and reach the island of Prvić. The island will give you the feeling of freedom and of Dalmatian way of life and will surprise you for its peace and tranquility since it is not overcrowded with tourists and no cars are allowed. You will also have the possibility to ride through its picturesque villages and to refresh yourself in some of its hidden bays as well as to visit the center of Faust Vrančić, a famous intellectual and inventor from 16th century.

After Prvić, our next stop is the island of Zlarin that will attract you with its harmony. We will have a pleasant ride through this peaceful island, called also the “Island of Corals” since its inhabitants were known for their skill to find and extract sea corals. After refreshment in crystal clear sea, we will have lunch at the local restaurant serving only the best homemade local meat and sea food.

Our tour finishes as we sail back on the yacht that had accompanied us to the island of Prvić at the beginning of our tour. You will have the possibility to relax on Fly-deck with a glass of wine, some snacks and fruit and to enjoy the beautiful scenario of St Anthony’s Channel and spectacular entrance into the port of Šibenik.
