National Park Krka

Krka National Park is one of the best known and the most beautiful Croatian national parks.

After picking you up at our meeting point in Sibenik our transfer to Skradin begins.

Skradin is a small town situated in a natural bay along the Krka river. From here, we take a boat that takes us to the first part of the national park, the famous Skradinski buk. After just 25 minutes of slow navigation through the river channel, we arrive to the national park entrance. Our tourist guide will guide you throughout the park to enjoy a fairytale environment surrounded by the magical power of water. We will walk the wooden paths, walkways, bridges and visit small stone houses and water mills that show how water was used in the past.

We will continue our tours by visiting the second part of the national park, the so called Roški slap. After a pleasant walk, you will have the possibility to have lunch in one of the most typical taverns of the park, an old mill, which today is turned to traditional tavern, and taste delicious local dishes based on ham, cheese, bread, local wine and vegetables.

After lunch, our journey continues towards the Visovac area from where you will have a possibility to make some beautiful photos of the small island located in the middle of a lake created by a river in one of its extended parts.

Itinerary:

8:00 am – meeting point in Šibenik

8:30 am – the arrival to Skradin

9:00 am – departure from Skradin to Krka National Park (25 minutes of navigation by a boat)

9:30 - 11:30 NP Krka waterfalls (visit to Skradinski buk, the main part of the park)

11:30 – 12:00 (bus transport from Skradinski           Buk to Roški Slap)

12:00 - 15:30 a visit to Roški slap (northern part of the park)

15:30 - 16:00 Visovac area

16:30 – end of the tour
