Dalmatia has been known as a producer of a quality olive oil since the time of the ancient Greeks. The olive branch is a symbol of peace and olive oil, on the other hand, a symbol of longevity and health. It is for sure one of the indispensable culinary ingredients of every Mediterranean cuisine. Today Croatian olive oil is among the best olive oils in the world, a fact that can be proved by many international awards won by Croatian oil producers in the past twenty years.

Our intention is to provide you a memorable experience by visiting a family-owned olive oil mill. We will start our day tour from the city of Šibenik from which we will depart to reach a nearby city of Vodice where olive oil center is situated. Upon arrival, we will be greeted by a welcome drink and a brief itinerary of an olive center will be presented to us. A short tour of olive garden and machinery will than follow to show you how the process of olive oil production works, from olive fruit reception to the first drops of golden olive oil.

Then, the olive oil tasting follows where you will have the possibility to taste different types of olive oil presented by professional olive oil taster who will explain the right tasting methods and the differences between wrong and right methods of tasting the olive oil. In addition to this, you will also have the possibility to taste some fine homemade prosciutto and cheese as well as our local wines.
